- Management was a classical tradition. Later on it changed to human resources. Where as it includes Efficiency and Effectiveness. Again it shifted to human relation.
- Marry Foley introduced the system of Human resources and she is called as "Mother of the Management".
- It is a service dominated economy doing things rightly refers to efficiency.
- where as in effectiveness doing right things.
3 Theories:
- Here, we see how the people are treated in each of the theory.
- Theory-X:
- It is a British theory, where people don't listen to anyone and they don't want to work.Which is assigned to them.
2. Theory-Y:
- It is American theory, where they do work whatever, we assign to them.
3. Theory-Z:
- It is German theory, where the people put system in place.
- In these every situation is unique and the Manager must determine what method will work.And the Manger should identify the key contingencies for the current situation.
- Here we have 3 points
- Contingency view:
- It means having an alternative way and never be neglected.
- Universalist view:
- Here, Single solution for single problem that is Universalist view.
- Case view:
- Here, every situation is unique we can't compare one with the other.
