CONTROL


CONTROL MANAGEMENT : It is a system which  gathers and users information to evaluate the performance of different organisation resources like human , physical , financial and as a whole in light of the organisation strategies pursue


THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF CONTROLS :
(1) PREVENTIVE CONTROL : This also known as feel forward control . these are the mechanisims intended to reduce or to eliminate unwanted behaviours
(2) CORRECTIVE CONTROL : It is made from past experience. There are two types of  correctrive control
(1) CONCURRENT CONTROL : This is the ongoing process
(2) FEED BACK CONTROL : This is the outcome of the experience
CONTROL involves the processes for ensuring that behaviours , performance conformation to an organisation standards , including rules procedures and goals these are linked to strategic goals of the organisation   
STEPS IN CORRRECTIVE CONTROL
Ø  Define the system
Ø  Idenetify key characterstics
Ø  Set standards
Ø  Collect information
Ø  Make comparison
Ø  If ok, continue
Ø  OR if deviations , then diagnose and correct problems
